Willie Brown Academy Room Representatives

Parents,

Please consider serving as a Willie Brown Room Representative. This is a positive and rewarding opportunity for parents who want to be involved in their child’s classroom. Two parents will be needed to serve as Room Representatives for each class.

Room Representatives are chosen within the first 2-3 weeks of school. If you can help, please use the link below to sign up for your child’s class.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with

    • The PTA Room Representative Chairman

    • Your child’s teacher and class parents regarding class parties and class activities

  • Attending Room Representative meetings

  • Coordinating

    • 2 class parties (Winter Party and EOY Party) with other Room Representatives from your grade level

    • Any teacher gifts from the class

    • Your classroom’s Winter Festival Activities (i.e., collecting, donations from parents/classrooms, assembling gift baskets, recruiting parent volunteers if necessary)
